The Turmeric Farmers Association Nizamabad district president P Tirupati Reddy said that about 50 farmers from Armoor, Balkonda and Nizamabad would be going to Varanasi and would be filing nominations.
The farmers from Erode from Tamil Nadu led by V K Daivaligamani would also be filing nominations. ''Our main intention is get Turmeric Board and MSP for Crop. We will not be campaigning against or for any candidate. We will be meeting political parties for solving our problems,'' said Reddy.
