TS Polls: Total 1,497 nominations filed, One day left

Total 1497 nominations filed for Assembly polls in Telangana and only one day left to file nominations. A record of 643 candidates from various Assembly constituencies filed nommination papers on Saturday. Seat sharing in Mahakutami not yet completed .Congress may finalise final list today. Sunday being holiday, no nomination would be received. Monday is the last day for filing of nomination papers.

On Monday, about 38 candidates filed their nominations in 48 Assembly constituencies while on Tuesday about 39 candidates from 34 Assembly constituencies, on Wednesday, 331 candidates filled from 114 ACs and 132 candidates on Thursday, 304 candidates filed nominations of Friday, all totalling to 1,497 nominations in the last six days.
