Tension prevailed in Kodangal due to Kidnap of Sarpanch candidate

Kodangal: Once again Kodangal Assembly Constituency attracted the attention of political parties as the news on  alleged  kidnap of Congress contesting  Sarpanch candidate  created  disturbance on Wednesday. TPCC Working President A Revanth Reddy complained to Vikarabad Superintendent of Police on the missing of Viswanath, who is a candidate for Nituru village Panchayat.


According to family members of Viswanath, earlier in the wee hours on Wednesday some unidentified persons forcibly taken him outside and till now his where abouts were not found. In tension they informed Senior congress leaders and with the fear of kidnapping and threat to his life approached police to trace him.


Whereas Congress party supported candidature of Viswanath who has to file his nomination today for Panchayat election from his village. The family members alleged hand of ruling party members behind his kidnap. By filing a case police are investigating.
